Case Management Improvement Project -
and Beyond - at PDR
In 2015, Physicians' Diagnostics & Rehabilitation Clinics (PDR) completed a quality improvement project to improve its case management as part of the process of becoming a new ICSI member. They developed a strategy to save staff time and improve their patient follow-up response rate. A close examination of the process revealed some redundancies and non-value added steps that could be improved or eliminated. PDR found that ICSI’s QI model created focus and helped them adhere to a reasonable timeline to accomplish their

for Hmong Healthy Lifestyles
ICSI is proud to share a link to Culturally Informed Clinical Practices for Hmong Healthy Lifestyles. This is an expert opinion document, developed by St. Paul–Ramsey County Public Health (SPRCPH) and Hmong Health Care Professionals Coalition (HHCPC), developed with ICSI's help and funded by the State Health Improvement Program (SHIP). It provides recommendations for clinics on how to support Hmong families in making healthy lifestyle choices about weight, nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco. Learn more.

Advanced Motivational Interviewing

Have you learned foundational motivational interviewing (MI) skills and found them useful? Are you ready to take it further to improve your patient and team interactions? If so, join us this summer for more advanced training. This full-day workshop is a deep dive into MI skills and practice, offering scenarios to help you hone your skills while receiving real-time coaching.
The small class size (limited to 16 participants) will ensure personalized instruction and feedback. Registrants must have prior MI training and will be asked to complete a pre-assessment to help customize the offering for the group. Only $100 for ICSI members; $200 for nonmembers.
