The mission of this Web site is to champion the cause of health care quality and to accelerate improvement in the value of the health care we deliver to the populations we serve.

The intended audience of this Web site is primarily the doctors and other health care professionals at the sixty-four ICSI Member medical groups in Minnesota and the surrounding areas. Non-ICSI member health care providers, health plans, policy makers and other stakeholders in the regional health care community are a secondary audience.

The information provided on this Web site is designed to support, not replace, the relationship that exists between a patient/site visitor and his/her physician.

There are two ICSI directors responsible for the ICSI Web site and its content:

• Jim Trevis, Director, Marketing & Communications, is responsible for overall ICSI branding, messaging, subject categories and accuracy of content, organizational news, podcasts, links with other Web sites, and overall maintenance of the site. Mr. Trevis has a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, and has more than 30 years of management experience in editorial, marketing, and corporate communications.
  
• Claire Neely, MD, Medical Director, is responsible for the content and accuracy of ICSI’s scientific documents (evidence-based guidelines, order sets and protocols). Dr. Neely has held clinical leadership positions with HealthPartners Medical Group for more than 20 years. She earned her MD from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, MO, and completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Neely is also an Archibald Bush Medical Fellow.

The editorial process of this Web site involves members of ICSI staff proposing and/or creating content. The two Web site Directors (and sometimes other members of senior management) review the content and approve for adding to the site. Dr. Neely is responsible for the medical content, while Mr. Trevis reviews news and general information content.
