Date: May 21, 2013
Location: Phone Conference
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
As physicians engage more with patients as participants in their own health, we benefit from learning more about human behavior. And as we age, many of us wish to leave family and friends with something to remember us by: our legacy. While health care has focused end-of-life efforts on living wills, ethical wills and hospice decisions, these are just part of the value we can provide to those we care for. How can we better help patients create their legacy?
Join Gary Oftedahl, ICSI's chief knowledge officer, in conversation with Barry Baines, MD, about his Celebrations of Life work. Drawing on his years of experience in end-of-life and hospice care, Dr. Baines has an important message about the power and value of creating a legacy. Listen in and gain a new perspective that could transform the way you talk with your patients and their families.
