Criteria for Inactivation of Technology Assessment Reports
Technology Assessment Reports may be inactivated according to one or more of the following criteria: - The technology is widely accepted and / or has become standard of care.
- The technology has low utilization and is no longer applicable to the general medical community.
- There has been no substantial literature on the topic for at least five years.
- New literature on the topic exists in the past five years but does not substantially change the conclusions.
These reports are for reference purposes and should be viewed cautiously in current medical practice.
