Baskets of Care Reports

The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) is under contract with the Minnesota Department of Health to facilitate and staff a process to identify and uniformly define seven baskets of care. Reports in support of this initiative are contained here. As part of the 2008 Minnesota Health Reform Legislation, the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) is under contract with the Minnesota Department of Health to facilitate and staff a process to identify and uniformly define seven baskets of care. The contract goals of this project are to develop definitions for seven baskets of care, define suggested measures for each of the baskets, identify operational and administrative challenges in implementation and communicate this information to providers and health plans across Minnesota related to the use of these baskets of care. The intent of the legislation is to have baskets of care available for voluntary implementation by January 2010.
