This seal signifies that the bearer has been reviewed by and meets the criteria of the ICSI Patient Advisory Council (PAC). ICSI's PAC champions patient and family-centered care, increased awareness of the patient/family perspective and utilization of shared decision-making between clinicians and patients, families and/or caregivers. Materials bearing this seal demonstrate:

1. Relevance and respect
2. Family and caregivers included
3. Coordinated, communicating care team
4. Literature includes patient concerns
5. Shared decision-making
6. Patient education materials
7. Direct input from patients
