This video shows how rising health care costs are taking dollars from other key social determinants of health, and why citizens need to join the discussions. Video courtesy of Twin Cities Public Television (tpt), The Bush Foundation, and ICSI. (2:21)
In partnership with the Citizens League and Twin Cities Public Television, ICSI in 2013 held a series of community conversations. Funded by the Bush Foundation, the goal of these discussions was to further explore how to best engage citizens, community stakeholders and clinicians together to discuss shared local issues and goals around the Triple Aim. Read the report on our Bush Foundation work.
Several videos were produced related to this work that are useful tools to demonstrate how this type of community conversation can be held; they are available on YouTube.
