ICSI Announces Leadership Changes

The Board of Directors of the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) is pleased to announce that they have named David Abelson, MD, (left) as the next president and Craig Acomb (right) as chief executive officer (CEO) of the ICSI collaborative. Since January, Mr. Acomb has served as interim president and CEO. Read more.

HCMC Clinic’s Asthma Work, Part of SIM Practice Facilitation Project, Wins Award

Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) received a Prevention Care Recognition Award at the HealthPartners Banquet for Health Care Quality for its efforts to implement practice facilitation strategies to improve adult and child asthma quality scores at East Lake Clinic. This project is part of the work ICSI and Stratis Health are doing with eight primary care and specialty clinics as part of the Minnesota Accountable Health State Innovation Model (SIM) Practice Facilitation cooperative agreement.
